3DS Austin Announces Social Media Contest for 11th Program

3 Day Startup Austin is excited to add a new layer of interactive engagement to the upcoming three-day weekend. We’re excited to announce a social media contest for students to respond via tweet, Instagram or video with daily entries and responses to the weekend’s daily topics.

Our friends at UPG Video and Social Distillery will be on-site to collect video testimonials – one of three ways to enter to win – so keep an eye out for the guys with a camera!

Prizes entrants will be entered to win include:

Each day, students will have a new way to win.  Most importantly, to enter, be sure to include hashtag #3DSATX in each post. You’ll also have additional chances to win through video testimonials that will be collected on-site during the weekend.

Use the following examples and fill in the blanks to enter! The most creative posts will win. Be sure to follow us on Twitter at @3DayStartupATX and on Instagram at 3DayStartup to be eligible to win.

1. For entry on Friday 10/18/13:

  • “I deserve #mentorship hours w/ __________b/c __________________ #3DSATX”

2. For entry on Saturday 10/19/13 (we’re really pumped for this one):

  • “If I were an #entrepreneur in #ATX I’d be ___________________ b/c ______________ #3DSATX”

3. For the final entry on Sunday 10/20/13:

  • “If I founded a #startup in #ATX it’d be __________ b/c __________ #3DSATX

Contest Rules

Only students enrolled and attending 3 Day Startup Austin will be eligible to enter this contest. To be eligible to win on Twitter and/or Instagram the post must include the hashtag #3DSATX. The Twitter profile and handle to be used in tweets is @3DayStartupATX or @3DayStartup. To win, you must be following @3DayStartupATX and 3DayStartup on Instagram.
