These past few weeks have been a flurry of phone calls, e-mails, and airport visits. On campus advertisement spots have been secured and we are strengthening relationships with our current and potential sponsors. At the moment, I’m setting up the tumblr, twitter, and livestream. Those are gonna be hot spots to watch during the weekend. More to come soon.
I have an idea that uses hungryhorn as the launchpad. I already have a graphics artist and I code myself, I just want to get straight to the point: what’s the cut the investors are asking for?
We like ideas. Ideas rock. That’s what 3DS is all about, bringing those to life. On Sunday, we will be pitching to investors; but they’re not here to invest in us per se. They’re there to mentor us, help us refine our company, and give us feedback on what we’re doing. We are a platform to launch a company.
If you already have your bases covered and you’re ready to release a product, perhaps you should consider competing in either the I2P or the Moot Corp competition. Present your idea, get people excited, get seed money and then find investors who are interested.
